Nevada City, CA

Since Rebecca and I didn’t make it up to Nevada City on Sunday for the final “Victorian Christmas” in which the streets are lined with vendors, booths, arts, food, entertainment, etc. I wanted to post a few pics from my first visit there with Shaw last Sunday. His family was kind enough to offer a Christmas tree from their property, along with some firewood, so we made the drive up and spent a few hours roaming around the town. We didn’t know it was Victorian Christmas heading into town, but was pleasantly surprised the crowds weren’t too obnoxious. Plus I got to see some authentic brick buildings. No facades here. Check’em out. I don’t have too much info to add, but you can learn more about Nevada City at this link here and here. Words like quaint and charming sure do come to mind, eh?

Also, here’s a link to a live web cam of the town.
